SKC London is a career support and outplacement service based in Soho, London, run as a division of the recruitment firm Bis Recruit.
Its outplacement service is paid for by employers and is aimed mainly at office support staff, a group it says is often left out of outplacement. After an initial consultation with a career coach, each delegate picks 3 or 5 one-to-one modules, depending on the level the employer buys, from 11 covering curriculum vitae (CV) appraisal, job search, LinkedIn, interview preparation, mock interviews with Bis Recruit recruiters and setting up a business, plus neurodiversity and resilience modules run by outside specialists. Most sessions take place by video call, with face-to-face meetings at its London office, and follow-up support continues after the programme.
Outplacement packages start from £450 per person. Individual jobseekers can also buy on-demand webinars on CV writing, LinkedIn, interviews and job search at £25 each, or a 90-minute one-to-one coaching session for £250, which includes follow-up support and two webinars. The site names five coaches, including Sue Inman, founder of Bis Recruit and SKC London, and states that all surveyed clients would recommend it.
